Day 3 - 4

Southern Kruger

Day notes

Time to explore Kruger Park with your rental vehicle. The park is easy to drive in, roads are in good condition and you can buy a map at the entrance.  There are various rest camps and picnic spots  in the park where you can stop for lunch or a drink. Remember to bring your passports when entering the park: you need proof of identification in order to be able to enter. In the warm months is is possibly a good idea to start your game drives early, most animals are more active when it is still a bit cool.  A sunrise or sunset game drive in the park is included.

St Lucia

Day notes

Continue your journey towards KwaZulu Natal, the next destination is green and lush St Lucia. If you leave early enough, there might still be time to pay the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park a visit on the way. Home to the big 5 and many other animals, this game park is a bit more mountainous than Kruger, but roads are still easy to drive one.

St. Lucia is famous for its big lagoon, which is home to many crocodiles and hippos. We will arrange a  2-hour lagoon cruise on one of the days so you can experience this yourself.  We highly recommend a day trip to the nearby IsiMangaliso Park, the combination of wildlife and immaculate stunning beach is definitely worth a visit!
